Lucy Letby, a nurse from Hereford, has been found guilty of the attempted murder of a premature baby girl, known as baby K, in February 2016. The verdict was reached unanimously by the jury at her retrial at Manchester Crown Court. Letby, who worked at the Countess of Chester Hospital, is already known as the UK's most prolific child killer. This latest conviction adds to her previous charges of murdering multiple neonatal babies.
