VisitNearly 138,000 Lucid Platform Beds Sold at Amazon and Walmart Recalled Due to Safety Concerns, 18 Injuries Reported
Sep 19, 2024, 09:42 PM
Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds sold at major retailers, including Amazon and Walmart, are being recalled across the U.S. and Canada due to safety concerns. The recall follows reports of the beds breaking, sagging, or collapsing during use, which have resulted in 18 injuries, including contusions and bruises. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has documented at least 245 incidents related to these beds. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled beds immediately and contact Lucid for a free replacement frame. CVB Inc, a Utah-based company, is the manufacturer of the recalled beds. The beds pose significant fall and injury risks.
