Lucid Group Reports Record Q2 Sales, Deliveries Up 70% YoY

Lucid Group reported its best sales quarter in Q2 2024, delivering 2,394 vehicles and producing 2,110 vehicles, up 70% YoY. These figures surpassed analysts' estimates, aided by price cuts that bolstered demand for its luxury electric sedans. The company has sold 7,552 vehicles over the last 12 months and a total of 14,856 vehicles since the launch of sales in Q4 2021. Lucid's shares rose following the announcement, as the company continues to trend upwards despite earlier forecasts of delivering 90,000 vehicles in 2024. The automaker plans to discuss its financial results on August 5, 2024, and has opened Lucid Air reservations in Europe.
