VisitHezbollah Rocket Attack Injures 10 in Haifa in First Targeting of City
Oct 7, 2024, 01:32 AM
Hezbollah launched a significant rocket attack on the Israeli port city of Haifa, marking the first time they have targeted the city. The attack, which occurred on Sunday night, involved dozens of rockets, including at least three Fadi-1 rockets. The rockets struck various locations in Haifa, including a house, Maxim Restaurant, and roads. As a result, at least 10 people were injured, with six in Haifa and two in Tiberius. Among the injured were a 13-year-old moderately injured by shrapnel and a 22-year-old in mild to moderate condition. Hezbollah claimed it targeted a military base south of Haifa. This attack also evaded Israel's usually reliable air defense systems.
