Huawei has officially launched HarmonyOS NEXT, a self-developed mobile operating system that is independent of Android architecture. Since its initial release in 2019, HarmonyOS has become the second most popular operating system in China, with over 1.1 billion lines of code, 6.75 million registered developers, and more than 1 billion devices in its ecosystem.
