Hezbollah launched a significant rocket attack on northern Israel, firing over 100 rockets, missiles, and drones primarily targeting the Ramat David Airbase, the Haifa region, and the Jezreel Valley. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the majority of these projectiles were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems, although some caused damage and sparked fires. The attacks are said to be in retaliation for recent Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon. This marks the most extensive escalation in the conflict since the 2006 war, with Hezbollah using long-range Fadi-1 and Fadi-2 rockets. Hezbollah also targeted the Rafael defense firm. Israel has responded with airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, intensifying the cross-border conflict.
