OpenAI has announced the launch of its new AI model, GPT-4o, during its Spring Update event. The model, described as faster, cheaper, and more efficient, is designed to be natively multimodal, capable of processing text, audio, and visual inputs in real time. GPT-4o is reported to be twice as fast and 50% cheaper than its predecessor, GPT-4 Turbo, and offers five times higher rate limits.
