Rebecca Cheptegei, a 33-year-old Ugandan Olympic marathon runner who recently competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, has died after being set on fire by her former boyfriend, Dickson Ndiema. The attack occurred at her home in Kenya, where she was doused in petrol and set alight.
