Trump Vows to End 'Ridiculous' Birthright Citizenship on Day One

When informed that the 14th Amendment grants citizenship to all persons born in the U.S., Trump responded that he intends to have it changed, asserting, 'We have to end it.' He emphasized that if someone sets foot on U.S. soil, they automatically become citizens, which he plans to stop. Trump also noted that the U.S. is 'the only country that has it.' Senator Lindsey Graham expressed support for ending birthright citizenship, stating that it should be achieved by executive order on Day One.
