China Criticizes EU's 'Unprecedented' Information Requests in NEV Probe on Thursday

China's Commerce Ministry (MOFCOM) has criticized the European Union's anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese new energy vehicles (NEVs), labeling the information requested as 'unprecedented' in terms of types, scope, and quantity. The Ministry stated that the EU's demands far exceed what is necessary for such probes, causing shock and disappointment among Chinese firms.
