CBI Makes Multiple Arrests in NEET Paper Leak Case, Including Journalist, Rajasthan Students; ₹10 Lakh Involved

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant progress in the NEET paper leak case. The investigation has led to multiple arrests, including Manish Prakash, the principal and vice-principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, and a journalist named Jamaluddin from Jharkhand. The CBI has also detained ten students from Rajasthan for using proxy candidates. Searches have been conducted at seven locations across Gujarat, including Ahmedabad and Godhra. The CBI has filed a petition in Godhra's court demanding a 4-day remand for four of the accused, including Tushar Bhatt, Purshottam Sharma, Vibhor Anand, and Arif Vora. The investigation involves ₹10 lakh to facilitate passing the NEET exam and includes questioning of Dixit Patel, the owner of Jai Jalaram School. The investigation is ongoing, with questioning of candidates and their relatives continuing.
