CBI Intensifies NEET-UG Paper Leak Probe with Multiple Arrests, Including Oasis School Staff and Journalist

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its probe into the NEET-UG paper leak case, leading to multiple arrests and searches across various states. Key arrests include Manish Prakash and Ashutosh from Patna, the principal and vice principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, and a journalist named Jamaluddin from Jharkhand. Additionally, ten students from Rajasthan have been detained for allegedly using proxy candidates to take the exams. The CBI has also filed a petition in Gujarat's Godhra court seeking a 4-day remand for four of the accused, including a school teacher, principal, middleman, and an accused from Bihar. Searches are being conducted at multiple locations in Gujarat, including Godhra, Ahmedabad, Kheda, and Anand districts. The principal of Oasis School, Dr. Ehsaan Ul Haq, was also the city coordinator for NTA, and the superintendent of the same school, Imtiaz Alam, has been arrested.
