Judge Orders Change of Venue for Bryan Kohberger's University of Idaho Murder Trial Starting June 2025
Sep 9, 2024, 04:40 PM
A judge has ruled to change the venue for the trial of Bryan Kohberger, the man charged with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students in 2022. Idaho Second District Judge John Judge made the decision due to concerns about the potential bias of the local jury pool in Latah County, which encompasses Moscow, where the murders took place. The defense argued that extensive pretrial publicity had tainted the jury pool. The Idaho Supreme Court will decide the new location for the trial, which is scheduled to begin in June 2025.
