Air India is under scrutiny after a passenger found a metal blade in his in-flight meal on a flight from Bengaluru to San Francisco. The incident occurred on June 9, when journalist Mathures Paul discovered the foreign object in his fig chaat dish on flight AI 175. Air India has confirmed the presence of the metal blade and has launched an investigation. Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Air India, stated that the airline is working with its catering partners to enhance checks and prevent future incidents. The airline has issued an apology to the affected passenger.
