Aaron Judge Hits 300th Home Run, Fastest in MLB History at 955 Games for Yankees
Aug 15, 2024, 02:42 AM
Aaron Judge has become the fastest player in Major League Baseball history to hit 300 career home runs. Judge achieved this milestone in just 955 games, surpassing the previous record held by Ralph Kiner, who reached the mark in 1,087 games. The historic home run, which was Judge's 43rd of the season, came during a game against the Chicago White Sox, where Judge hit a 3-0 pitch from Chad Kuhl. Notably, the White Sox had intentionally walked Juan Soto to pitch to Judge. The Yankees were leading 9-2 at the time of the home run. Judge's achievement adds to his impressive career with the Yankees, making him the seventh player in the franchise to reach 300 home runs.
