Ontario Government Releases 95-Year Therme Canada Lease for Ontario Place with 2,500 Parking Spots

The Ontario government has released details of a newly revealed 95-year lease agreement with Therme Canada for the redevelopment of Ontario Place, which includes a commitment to fund 2,500 parking spots. This is 700 more than required under the lease. Additionally, the province will provide up to $25 million to prepare the site for redevelopment. The lease also promises 1,600 dedicated parking spots for the Therme spa. Ontario taxpayers will fund the parking spots.
