Hezbollah and Israel Exchange Heavy Fire After Haifa Attacks in Initial Response
Sep 22, 2024, 04:50 AM
Hezbollah and Israel have exchanged heavy fire following a series of attacks. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting sites belonging to Israeli defense company Rafael in northern Israel, including a military industry complex in Haifa and the Krayot area. The group used Fadi 1 and 2 missiles, as well as Katyusha rockets, in response to pager and walkie-talkie attacks in Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday. The attacks on the Rafael Company, which specializes in electronic means and equipment, are described as an initial response by Hezbollah.
