Aaron Judge Hits MLB-Leading 56th Home Run in Third Consecutive Game for Yankees
Sep 25, 2024, 12:15 AM
Aaron Judge has hit his major league-leading 56th home run of the season, marking his third consecutive game with a homer. On September 22, Judge hit his 54th home run in a game where the New York Yankees routed the Oakland Athletics 10-0. Giancarlo Stanton and Anthony Volpe also contributed home runs in that game. The following day, Judge hit his 55th home run, helping the Yankees secure a 7-4 victory over the Athletics, completing a three-game sweep and reducing their magic number to clinch the AL East to one. Judge's 56th home run came during a game against the Baltimore Orioles, cutting the Yankees' deficit to 2-1.
