Kyle Schwarber hit a leadoff home run off Kodai Senga, sending the ball to the second deck on the third pitch of the game. This powerful shot, with an exit velocity of 115.8 mph, is among the hardest-hit Phillies postseason home runs since Statcast began, following his previous blasts of 119.7 mph on October 18, 2022, and 117.1 mph on October 16, 2023. The home run gave the Philadelphia Phillies an early 1-0 lead. With this blast, Schwarber now has 21 postseason home runs, ranking fourth all-time in MLB history.
