Russian Forces Capture Half of Yuzhnodonbasskaya No. 3 Mine, Demolish 115-Meter Tower
Sep 15, 2024, 07:51 PM
Russian Armed Forces have advanced in the Ugledar direction, capturing significant portions of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya No. 3 mine near Vodyanoye. They have occupied at least half of the mine. Fighting continues in the fortified area as Russian troops attempt to secure their positions. The Russian forces discovered that the main shaft of the mine was heavily mined by Ukrainian troops before their retreat, leading to the demolition of the 115-meter tower. The explosion was part of an effort to clear the mine of hazards.
