McLaren Racing has announced the completion of its buyout of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar team, acquiring full ownership as of December 31, 2024. The acquisition marks the culmination of a partnership that began in 2020 when McLaren initially purchased a 75% stake from former owners Sam Schmidt and Ric Peterson in 2021. With this final transaction, McLaren now holds 100% ownership of the team, consolidating its position in the IndyCar series.
