Ukrainian forces have successfully shot down a modern Russian Kronshtadt Orion reconnaissance and strike UAV in the Kursk region. The operation was carried out by the 80th Air Assault Brigade using the Strela-10 air defense system. This marks the eighth documented loss of an Orion MALE UCAV with photo and video evidence during the ongoing conflict. Additionally, a Ukrainian FPV drone destroyed a Russian BMP-3 in the same region.
