The Miami Heat have suspended star forward Jimmy Butler for seven games due to 'multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team over the course of the season and particularly the last several weeks,' the team announced on Friday. Butler and his representatives have indicated that they wish to be traded, prompting the Heat to state they will 'seek to trade him' and will listen to offers for the six-time All-Star. The suspension will cause Butler to miss upcoming games, including a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on January 11th.
