Officials have confirmed that three people, including two four-year-old children and a 72-year-old woman, have died after a pontoon boat capsized on Lake Powell on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred near the Utah-Arizona border and involved a small pontoon boat carrying eleven people. The boat capsized while being towed, trapping passengers underneath. The deceased were part of families from Utah and Idaho. The Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, where the incident took place, is now under investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
