The US Justice Department has revealed that some prominent American social media influencers, including Tim Pool, were earning up to $400,000 per month to produce propaganda for Russian government proxies. According to the FBI, over 2,800 influencers were involved in this disinformation campaign, which aimed to sow division and disparage Ukraine. The Russian Social Design Agency was identified as a key player in monitoring these influencers. This campaign is estimated to account for 50% of social media presence.
