A new City Hall report reveals that the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) across London has led to a significant reduction in air pollutants. The initiative, which was expanded London-wide six months ago, has resulted in a 13% decrease in nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions from cars compared to projections if the scheme had remained confined to inner London.
