Baseball Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson, widely regarded as the greatest leadoff hitter and base stealer in Major League Baseball history, has died on Friday at the age of 65. Henderson is the Athletics’ all-time leader in runs scored (1,270), walks (1,227), and stolen bases (867). In 1982, he set the modern-era record for stolen bases in a season. Henderson, nicknamed 'Man of Steal', holds the MLB record for career stolen bases with 1,406. His prolific 25-year career left a lasting legacy on the game.
