CNN Reports Trump May Win Popular Vote, First Republican in 20 Years
Oct 25, 2024, 02:29 PM
CNN has reported that, according to the latest polls, former President Donald Trump may win the popular vote in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. This would mark the first time a Republican candidate has won the national popular vote in 20 years. CNN's election analyst Harry Enten highlighted that Trump is "running far ahead of where he polled in 2016 or 2020" and that "he could make history, not just for Donald Trump, but for a Republican candidate as well." Enten described winning the popular vote as Trump's "great white whale."
