Italian police have freed 33 Indian farm labourers from slave-like conditions in Verona. The labourers were working seven days a week for 10-12 hours a day at a wage of €4 per hour, with all wages docked to settle debts. Authorities have seized almost €500,000 from the two alleged abusers of the farmers.
