The tunnel, which began in a residential neighborhood, contained anti-tank missiles and electrical infrastructure. The operation was carried out by combat engineers and the Northern Gaza Brigade. The IDF emphasized that the tunnel's exit was located inside a residential area, posing significant risks to civilians. In Beit Hanoun, the Kfir Brigade was also involved in related operations.
