Pete Rose, the legendary Major League Baseball (MLB) player known as 'Charlie Hustle' and the all-time hit king, has died at the age of 83. Rose, who holds the MLB records for games played (3,562), at-bats (14,053), hits (4,256), and singles (3,215), was a 17-time All-Star. Despite his on-field achievements, Rose was banned from the Hall of Fame for betting on baseball games. His death was confirmed by TMZ and reported by ESPN, among other outlets, including a confirmation from the medical examiner.
