The honor recognizes her extraordinary achievements in gymnastics, including her historic comeback at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won four medals: three golds in the team, all-around, and vault events, and one silver in floor exercise. These victories made her the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history with a total of 11 Olympic medals. At age 27, Biles also broke Shannon Miller's record for the most Olympic medals won by an American gymnast.
