F1 Confirms Cadillac Joining as 11th Team in 2026 with Andretti, Pending Approval

Formula 1 has confirmed an agreement in principle with General Motors for its Cadillac brand to join the championship in 2026 as the eleventh team, pending final approval. The new American team, expected to be run in partnership with Andretti Global, will increase the grid to 22 cars. This marks a significant expansion of the sport and the addition of an American manufacturer to Formula 1.
