China successfully launched a Long March-2C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Gansu Province on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 7:39 a.m. Beijing Time (23:39 UTC, November 24). The rocket placed two radar satellites, Siwei Gaojing-2 03 and Siwei Gaojing-2 04, into their planned orbit. This launch marked the 547th flight of the Long March carrier rockets and was China's 57th orbital launch of 2024. The satellites are equipped with high-precision phased array radar systems designed for advanced microwave sensing.
