VisitIran's IRGC Bans Communication Devices After Last Week's Deadly Attacks on Hezbollah by Israel

Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has ordered all members to stop using any type of communication devices following deadly attacks in Lebanon last week. Thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah, an ally of Iran, exploded in these attacks, which were reportedly carried out by Israel. The IRGC, which has 190,000 members, has launched a large-scale inspection of all electronic devices and is switching to encrypted messaging apps. The decision comes amid fears of similar attacks and concerns about the security of their communications.
