Turkey Pursues Legal Action Against Israel Over Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi's Death

Turkey is taking legal actions to hold Israel accountable for the killing of Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, a US-Turkish pro-Palestinian activist, who was shot by Israeli forces last week during a protest in the West Bank. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey will apply to the International Court of Justice. Additionally, Turkey has opened an investigation into the death and will request international arrest warrants for those involved. The Turkish Justice Minister stated that Ankara would also press the UN to take immediate action.
