AMD Unveils EPYC 'Turin' Chip with 192 Cores and 37% Speed Gain, Forecasts $500 Billion AI Market by 2028

AMD CEO Lisa Su unveiled the company's latest EPYC data center chip, named Turin, during the Advancing AI 2024 event. The Turin chip features up to 192 processor cores and is built on the Zen 5 architecture, promising a 37% speed gain for advanced AI data processing.
