Naughty Dog announced its first new franchise in over a decade, "Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet," during The Game Awards. In development since 2020, the game is exclusive to PlayStation and marks a departure from the studio's previous titles like "Uncharted" and "The Last of Us." Directed by Neil Druckmann, it features Tati Gabrielle and Kumail Nanjiani in starring roles, with a score composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. "Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet" is a retro sci-fi space adventure described as Naughty Dog's "deepest gameplay" yet. The story follows a bounty hunter who becomes stranded on a distant planet that lost communication with the outside universe hundreds of years ago.
