Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have claimed responsibility for a failed suicide bombing attack in Tel Aviv that occurred on Sunday. The attack involved a terrorist carrying 8 kg of explosives, which detonated prematurely, killing only the bomber. The militant groups have stated that this operation was conducted in cooperation between their armed wings. Hamas has also warned of more such suicide bombings within the occupied territories as long as the perceived occupation continues.
