Nicolas Bideau, head of communications at the Swiss Foreign Ministry, confirmed Switzerland's willingness to facilitate such a meeting, emphasizing the country's neutral stance. Since hosting the Bürgenstock Peace Summit, Switzerland has been communicating its readiness to support diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace. The Swiss government has stated that it would not initiate such a meeting but is prepared to host it if formally requested by both leaders.
