Anduril Industries, a defense technology startup valued at $14 billion, has announced plans to build a $1 billion manufacturing facility named Arsenal-1 in Columbus, Ohio. The facility, spanning 5 million square feet and with an additional 500 acres available for expansion, is set to produce tens of thousands of autonomous systems and weapons annually, including aerial and maritime drones, sensors, and other products. Specifically, it will focus on producing Fury and Roadrunner drones and Barracuda autonomous missiles.
