French Cyclist Fined for Kissing Wife During Stage 7 Time Trial of Tour de France

French cyclist Julien Bernard was fined by the International Cycling Union (UCI) for stopping to kiss his wife and son during the Stage 7 time trial of the Tour de France. The UCI stated that Bernard's behavior was inappropriate and damaged the image of the sport. Despite the fine, Bernard expressed no regrets, playfully apologizing and stating he would be willing to pay 200 francs every day to relive the moment.
