15-Year-Old Charged with Killing Family in Fall City; Sister Survived by Playing Dead
Oct 25, 2024, 01:10 PM
A 15-year-old boy in Fall City, Washington, has been charged with the murders of his parents and three younger siblings on Monday. Authorities allege that he fatally shot his family members at their home, called 911 afterward claiming his brother was responsible, and attempted to frame his 13-year-old sibling by staging the scene to suggest a murder-suicide. An 11-year-old sister survived the attack by playing dead, escaped to a neighbor's house, and informed police that the 15-year-old was the actual shooter. The boy faces five counts of first-degree aggravated murder and one count of first-degree attempted murder. Authorities have not identified a motive, and prosecutors are considering whether to try him as an adult.
