The European Union Council has approved a new financial assistance tranche of €4.2 billion for Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility. This decision, confirmed by Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, brings the total assistance provided under this initiative to €16 billion in 2024. Prime Minister Denys Smyhal emphasized the importance of this support, while First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko noted that Ukraine continues to meet the required indicators and implement crucial reforms on its path to EU integration.
