Four Hostages Rescued from Gaza During Operation Arnon in Poor Health After Daily Abuse
Jun 10, 2024, 07:32 PM
Four hostages rescued from Gaza on Saturday during 'Operation Arnon' have been reported to be in a worse physical and psychological state than initially believed. The Hostage and Missing Families Forum's Yehonatan Sabban emphasized that they were in captivity for more than 240 days. Hebrew media reports indicate that all four hostages were found to be malnourished and had spoken about the awful experiences they endured. Dr. Itai Pessach, who treated them at Sheba Medical Center, revealed that the hostages were subjected to almost daily abuse by their captors, including physical and mental torture. The hostages, identified as Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Shlomi Ziv (40), and Andrei Kozlov (27), suffered significant health impacts due to the abuse and malnutrition.
