NYPD to Revoke Trump's Gun License After Felony Conviction: CNN
Jun 5, 2024, 09:11 PM
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is preparing to revoke former President Donald Trump's license to carry a firearm following his felony conviction, according to a senior police official who spoke to CNN. Under New York state and federal law, individuals convicted of a felony are prohibited from possessing firearms. Trump must turn over all of his firearms to authorities or legally transfer them to another person ahead of his sentencing on July 11. The revocation of his concealed carry license follows its suspension last April after his indictment on criminal charges.
