China has announced plans to develop a next-generation BeiDou satellite navigation system with advanced technologies, enhanced functions, and improved services. According to Chinese state media, the country aims to achieve a technological breakthrough for the system by 2025. The plan includes an experimental satellite launch by 2027, launching three pilot test satellites, and deploying the full next-generation BeiDou network by 2035. Additionally, China is set to launch the next-generation BeiDou satellites around 2029 as part of its roadmap.
