BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company have announced that 'Bluey,' the popular Australian animated children's series, will be adapted into a feature film set for a theatrical release in 2027. The film, which will continue the adventures of Bluey, her sister Bingo, and their parents, marks the first-ever animated 'Bluey' movie. Series creator Joe Brumm expressed his enthusiasm, stating, 'I’ve always thought ‘Bluey’ deserved a theatrical movie. I want this to be an experiential event for the whole family to enjoy together.' The movie will be released in cinemas worldwide, followed by streaming on Disney+.
