Jackson surpassed Michael Vick's previous record of 6,109 rushing yards, finishing the game with 6,110 yards after a notable 6-yard run in the third quarter. The record-setting performance contributed to the Ravens' decisive 31-2 victory over the Texans, where Jackson also accounted for three touchdowns. This achievement comes in Jackson's less than seven full seasons, during which he has played 102 games, compared to Vick's 143 games. Following the game, Jackson expressed gratitude for breaking a long-standing record held by one of his favorite players, stating, "I’m grateful, man.
