Fraudsters used 26 bundles of these fake notes to dupe a bullion trader into exchanging gold worth Rs 1.6 crore. Anupam Kher expressed surprise upon learning about the incident, remarking, 'Oh my! ₹500 notes! Anything can happen.' The police operation resulted in the discovery and seizure of the counterfeit currency.
